This course will familiarize the students with the electrical operation, component functionality, technical documents/ drawings, and troubleshooting techniques necessary to maintain the Top Drive and its electrical components. The course will also give an overview for TDS control/operation, will cover the overall system and components. Systems screen displays will be analysed for information pertaining to maintenance and troubleshooting.

Participants will navigate schematics, drawings and rig documentation and will engage in fault finding scenarios to reinforce troubleshooting techniques.
